Description

How can communities create structures that support long-term resilience and local opportunity?

Join ACRE for the final session in the Tools for Transition – Continuing Momentum webinar series as we explore enterprise approaches that can support the transition of local economies.

This session will examine how communities are using enterprise models, collaboration and local ownership approaches to create sustainable impact over time.

Together, we’ll explore:
• different enterprise models that support community transition
• long-term thinking for local economic resilience
• balancing social, economic and community outcomes
• lessons from communities already doing this work.

Guest speakers will share practical insights from initiatives focused on community enterprise, place-based development and long-term sustainability.

The session includes:
• guest speaker conversation
• open Q&A
• guided reflection activity
• invitation to continue the conversation through ACRE’s open-door coaching sessions.

Date: Thursday 22 October

Time: 12 noon – 1pm
Format: Online webinar (live + recording available)
Guest Speakers: Matt Pfahlert, ACRE/Old Beechworth Gaol and Sally Quinn, Green Collect

This session is part of the broader Tools for Transition – Continuing Momentum series.
