Heritage Hands: Pechakucha - Made to Last
Description
What does Made to Last mean to you?
Join Heritage Hands for an evening of fast-paced visual storytelling celebrating traditional trades, specialist crafts and the knowledge we carry forward.
From neon glass bending and traditional leather plaiting to handcrafted ballet headpieces and the specialist art of cheese maturation, Made to Last brings together makers and creative practitioners to share the stories behind their work.
Each speaker has just 20 images, shown for 20 seconds each - six minutes and 40 seconds to explore a skill, object, practice or tradition worth preserving.
Expect fascinating people, remarkable imagery and fresh perspectives on the things we make, the knowledge we share and what we choose to keep.
