Symposium Format:

  •  Two part programme (afternoon and evening) that puts a historical / heritage focus on current issues and opportunities in Aotearoa New Zealand – delivered in a format that delivers new insights, challenges conventional thinking, and allows active audience engagement and contributions.

Afternoon Programme:

  • An opportunity for the public to see ‘Heritage Partners’ working together on heritage objectives that reach into a community 
  • Outcome: encouraging greater understanding of what investment into bi-cultural partnerships means by examining the relevance of history and heritage across Aotearoa New Zealand and exploring learnings for our region.

Evening Programme: 

  • Sir Ian Taylor, one of our foremost digital entrepreneurs, gives his views on how to bring our region's history and heritage alive and relevant for today's audience.
