Hermosa Sounds Vol.4 End of Year Celebration

Hermosa Sounds closes out 2026 with a warm, intimate night celebrating the women shaping Melbourne's music scene.

Presented by Hermosa Music, a Melbourne not-for-profit championing gender equity in music, Hermosa Sounds has brought audiences unforgettable nights at Memo Music Hall, Brunswick Ballroom and St Kilda Bowls Club. Vol. 4 lands at the Wesley Anne with three artists spanning folk, world and jazz.

Opening the night is Beloved Abe, a Filipino-Australian singer-songwriter whose soulful, stripped-back songs explore identity, family and finding home between two worlds.

Next, Nina Rose takes the stage with her guitar and heartfelt original songs, bringing the honesty and warmth that have made her a familiar voice in Melbourne's songwriter circles.

Closing the night is a very special headline duo: Cuban-born pianist and composer Romy Hernandez, a fixture of the city's jazz and Latin scenes, joins polyglot singer-songwriter Bonnie Smith, whose stunning vocals and original world compositions travel through Spanish, French, Portuguese, Turkish and English. Together they share an hour of their original music.

Come celebrate the end of the year with beautiful songs, great company and the spirit of Hermosa. 🌙
