Connect with others and learn from their stories
Build the relationships to collaborate and take action together
What is it?
A welcoming and safe opportunity to have your say and make it count!
First, we share a meal, meet people and chat.
Then we form groups of about 7 to share stories - about the pressures we are facing and how they have affected us, or our family and friends.
There is a group leader to make sure it all goes smoothly: everyone will have a chance to share, and stories will be recorded with permission.
At this Local Listening you will be invited to share about:
1. An issue that is important to you or causes hardship or challenge for you or those you love,
2. Energy affordability, renewables, and disaster recovery,
3. Workplace rights, and
4. Social isolation, loneliness and community infrastructure.
