Healthy Equal Youth (HEY) Day will launch the twelfth round of the HEY Grants. This is an annual grant program that YACVic administers in partnership with the Victorian Government, to fund projects that support LGBTIQA+ connection, mental health and wellbeing. This year, 11 grant recipients are sharing in over $102,000.

What to expect

HEY Day celebrates the work of the LGBTIQA+ sector in Victoria, showcasing new projects and research that improve the mental health and wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ young people. 

Come along to HEY Day for insightful panel discussions, free food, queer jubilance, and the announcement of the 2023 HEY Grant recipients!

  • LGBTIQA+ sector workers 
  • community members 
  • Anybody else who is passionate about improving the lives and wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ young people.

HEY Day will take place on the land of the Yalukut Weelam Clan of the Boon Wurrung peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge that Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
