Register to attend our online HEY Grants Round 15 Info Session and Workshop

Round 15 of the Annual Healthy Equal Youth (HEY) Small Grants open on Monday 9th September, 2025! The HEY Grants award up to $10,000 to projects, funding activities across Victoria that increase LGBTIQA+ young peoples':

Sense of belonging in their community
Sense of pride in their identity
Social connections and networks
Understanding and supports for mental health
Understanding of support services and how to access them
Access to safe, supportive, inclusive spaces

Projects and activities led by young people, or with evidence of meaningful youth participation, will be prioritised.

HEY Grant categories

Youth-led projects for LGBTIQA+ young people with innovative projects they know will support their LGBTIQA+ peers. A youth-led application must be proposed and led by people who are under 25! (They can get people older than that to proofread and assist them).

Social Connectedness projects for services to expand or improve their support for LGBTIQA+ young people, and for targeted projects for LGBTIQA+ young people that will improve their mental health and wellbeing.

Who should attend the info session?

Tuesday 9th September - Workers:
If you or your organisation already does great work with LGBTIQA+ young people in your community, or are looking to develop more inclusive spaces to support their mental health, wellbeing and community connection, this is for you!

Thursday 11th September - Young People:
If you're an LGBTIQA+ young person or powerful ally and have an idea for a project, program, activity or event focused on improving the mental health and wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ young people, come along! We'll share tips for developing your idea and writing a stand-out application :)

Round 15 of HEY Grants open on Monday 8th September, and close on Friday 24th October 2025.
