This workshop shows you what is actually happening to you underneath the surface, and what to change first.

If you are performing well on the outside but it feels heavier than it should, you are not imagining it. And it is not a discipline problem.

Most founders and business owners are not falling behind because they lack capability or commitment. They are carrying too much. More decisions, more context-switching, more complexity, more noise, often invisible, but constant. And their biology is paying the price long before they consciously register it.

Here is what most performance conversations miss: stress is not a feeling. It is a physiological state your body is already in. When that state becomes chronic, it shapes everything downstream, your clarity, your patience, your decision-making, your ability to lead, your capacity to think. Not because something is wrong with you. Because your nervous system is doing exactly what it was designed to do in an environment it was never designed for.

Most people reach for mindset tools, productivity systems, or AI to manage the load. And those things can help. But if the organism running them is already in chronic stress-load, the tools sit on top of an unstable foundation. Nothing sticks. Nothing scales. The load just shifts shape.

This workshop starts where performance actually starts: with your biology. You will leave with a genuinely new understanding of what is driving your experience, why your current way of operating is working against you, and what to change first (before anything else).

What you will walk away with

A new framework for understanding stress as a physiological reality, not a personality trait
The ability to identify your own load patterns and recognise them early
Clarity on the hidden sources of cognitive overload quietly affecting your performance
Practical, biology-informed first steps to reduce load without dropping standards

Who this is for

Founders, business owners, and leaders who are already high-functioning but know something needs to shift. You do not need convincing that you are busy. You need a new explanation for why it feels harder than it should, and a different starting point.

PART ONE OF A THREE PART SERIES

SERIES OVERVIEW

The Augmented Human Series

A three part workshop series for founders, business owners, and leaders.

You are operating in a world your brain and body were not designed for.

More decisions. More complexity. More noise. More pressure. And now AI accelerating everything faster than most people are ready for.

The result is not laziness or lack of drive. It is capable, committed people quietly falling behind their own standards. Not because something is wrong with them. Because the conditions they are operating inside have changed faster than their internal operating system has.

If any of this feels familiar, you are not alone:

You are performing on the outside but it feels heavier than it should
Your thinking feels busy but not always clear
You are making more decisions than ever and carrying them long after the day ends
You have tried tools, systems, even AI, but the load has not really dropped
You know something needs to change but you are not sure what
You keep reaching for the next solution before the last one has settled

This is not a mindset problem. It is a biology problem. And it is a self-understanding problem.

Why now

We have built a world that accelerates faster than our biology can adapt to. AI is compounding the pace. Complexity is compounding the decisions. And most of us are still running internal operating systems that were never designed for this environment.

Most of the performance, productivity, and AI content out there starts with tools and mindset. This series starts somewhere different: with the organism. With the biology, the neuroscience, and the behavioural patterns that determine how everything else actually functions.

Combining Drew Knowles' three decades of behavioural consulting, stress physiology, and human performance work with Dr Simon McKenzie-Nickson's PhD-level neuroscience research, flow state expertise, and senior corporate experience, the Augmented Human Series gives you a biology-first framework for understanding why you operate the way you do and how to perform at a genuinely higher level without burning out in the process.

This is not an AI course. It is not a stress management seminar. It is a human performance operating system for the world you are actually living in.

This is not three separate workshops. It is a progression.

Workshop 1 - The Hidden Load: understand what is actually happening to you
Workshop 2 - The Signal and the Noise: learn how to think clearly inside it
Workshop 3 - The Augmented Human: operate differently in a world that is not slowing down

You can attend one. But the real shift happens across all three.

You can attend this as a standalone session or join the full series for the complete experience.

Facilitated by

Drew Knowles and Dr Simon McKenzie-Nickson

A rare opportunity to experience this work in a practical, in-person format combining:

Human performance
Behavioural science
Modern tools to reduce load and increase capacity
