Hidden Wetlands of Denmark
Description
Hidden Wetlands of Denmark is a locally guided morning walk into some of the region’s lesser-known wetland places within the Wilson Inlet system.
Meeting at the Denmark Visitors Centre, we will travel together to a local wetland connected to Wilson Inlet and spend the morning walking, observing, and learning. Guided by local ornithologist Andrew Dickinson, this gentle unhurried walk offers time to notice wetland birds and landscapes, ask questions, and deepen your understanding of how these wetlands function as part of the broader inlet system.
Please bring:
Appropriate bushwalking attire
Water
Binoculars (if you have them)
Morning tea will be provided.
This event is suitable for adults and children over 12 who are comfortable walking on uneven ground.
All proceeds go to the Denmark Environment Centre Inc, supporting local environmental education and care for Denmark’s natural places.
