Join us in celebrating the winter solstice, on Wednesday 21st June! The crew at Quay Carlo will be serving a delightful High Tea, with a modern touch.

Please arrive by 11am as the program will start at 11.15am with food served from 11.30am.

This month special guest speaker will bring a different perspective on Women's career.

Meet Andree Stark, who will share her interesting dedication, challenges and achievements over 25 years of experience in the public, and not for profit sector, working in collaboration to improve community outcomes.

Andree is currently the Manager Community and Commercial Services for Gympie Regional Council. She has been working for Council for the past 7 years, in different roles. Andree will share some of the highlights of her journey with some interesting stories from her earlier years.

You'll be welcome to ask questions, connect and learn about the support already in place for us and what to expect moving forward.

Our local writer Sheryl Anderson will be sharing and reading her meaningful poems.

All of this, in a beautiful location looking at the waters of Carlo Point Marina, with great company and tasteful food.

The chefs at Quay Carlo Restaurant are going to have some fun and put on a luscious high tea with a twist, adding an Asian slant with sushi, pot stickers, mini chicken satay skewers, plus a few favourites like cucumber sandwiches and baked scones…

You are welcome to Dress to Express, not impress. We encourage and support women who want to express who they are on the inside through what they wear on the outside. Just to have a little fun in our matinee together, why not?
