High Tea with Diana Rampton
Description
A ruthless billionaire. A woman with something to say. Neither stands a chance.
Elizabeth Bennet, the fiercely independent host of The Longbourn Chronicle, an investigative business and tech podcast she runs with her sisters, would rather dismantle corporate greed from a cramped Shoreditch office than sip champagne with titans of industry and pander to their vanity. So when she overhears Darcy Fitzwilliam – the cold, impossibly arrogant founder of venture capital giant Pemberley Capital – dismiss her work as a passable "vanity project", she makes it her mission to put his empire under the microscope.
Darcy Fitzwilliam operates on cold logic, hyper-efficiency, and strict risk management. And he certainly doesn't allow himself to be distracted by sharp-tongued, scrappy journalists with a knack for seeing through his armour.
From London boardrooms to billionaire playgrounds, Elizabeth is determined to expose the truth behind Darcy’s impenetrable facade. The only problem? The deeper she digs, the harder it is to tell whether she’s investigating her enemy or falling for him.
Join us to celebrate the release of Pride, Prejudice and Podcasts with Diana Rampton and Amy Midanik-Blum over a delicious high tea!
Diana Rampton loves to create feel-good humorous romance, featuring intelligent ladies, dashing gentlemen, and sparkling banter. An engineer by training but a romantic by nature, she left her corporate career to follow the call of her artistic inclinations and write stories that bring a little joy and laughter into people's lives. She loves eating great food, watching comedy with her family, and cuddling. When not immersed in fictional worlds, she’s been known to dabble in extreme property makeovers that send her family batty. After being interviewed on ABC Radio’s Nightlife show, where she delved into the ins and outs of being a romance author, she had so much fun that “radio jockey” is now on her career wish-list. Her absolute dream is to set up an animal shelter farm (inspired by Daphne!). Diana lives in Sydney with her Mr Darcy, their multi-generational family, and their emotionally needy pets.
Amy Midanik-Blum is the Publicist at Hembury Books. Her background is primarily in editorial and administration, and she’s thrilled to bring her skills to hybrid publishing. As a Publicist, she works closely with authors to champion their work, develop creative ways to reach readers, and build meaningful attention around each project. When she’s not reading contemporary or literary fiction, she can be found exploring Sydney’s beautiful landscape or hanging out with her tuxedo cat.
