Highlighting the patient voice: translating collaborative health communication research into curricula and practice
This symposium is a forum for researchers and practitioners in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences and affiliated health services on how patients and their families’ wishes are communicated to the healthcare team. Communication research from health professions education and healthcare will be presented to inform translation of these findings into collaborative practice and curricula.
Speakers include Associate Professor Felicity Bright (Auckland University of Technology), Ms Jo Bolton (CPC UoM), Dr Charlotte Denniston (DME), and Ms Julia Paxino (PhD candidate, DME).
