Hike
Event description
Join us for a refreshing escape to Duder Regional Park, nestled on the scenic Whakakaiwhara Peninsula. This hike offers rolling farmland, native bush, and stunning coastal cliffs with sweeping views of the Hauraki Gulf and surrounding islands.
We’ll follow the Farm Loop Track, a moderate trail that winds through gentle hills and past grazing sheep and cattle. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views, and if you’re up for a little extra adventure, we can extend to Whakakaiwhara Point, a historic Māori pā site with breathtaking vistas.
The coastal walk along the peninsula’s edge is perfect for spotting native birds, taking photos, and enjoying the fresh sea breeze. This hike is ideal for all fitness levels, and the pace will be relaxed—perfect for chatting, taking in the scenery, and connecting with fellow members.
