Women's Hike-Social: A Monthly Social Walk for Women Who Love to Hike, Walk & Connect!

Are you looking to get more into hiking but don’t know where to start? Or perhaps you’re a solo adventurer wanting to meet like-minded women in your local area? If you’re craving more connection with nature, yourself, and other inspiring women, Hike-Social is the perfect opportunity for you!

Every month, we come together for a social and supportive beginners walk designed for women of all ages (from 35 to 70 years young!) who want to hike, get active, and meet new friends. Whether you’re new to hiking or just want to join a community of welcoming women, this event is about building connections, enjoying nature, and having fun while moving your body.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

Guided Social Walk: Enjoy a relaxing 1-hour walk through stunning local trails or beaches, with plenty of opportunities to connect with others.
Mindfulness & Movement: We start the day with guided mindfulness practices and a warm-up to center ourselves for the walk ahead.
Conversation Starters: Need a little help breaking the ice? We’ve got you covered with conversation starters to help get the chatter flowing.
Community Connection: After the walk, we gather in a supportive circle to share experiences, reflections, and connect with like-minded women.
Optional Cafe Hangout: At the end of the hike, we head to a nearby cafe for a well-deserved coffee (optional but a lovely way to continue the conversation!).This is not just a hike—it’s an opportunity to join a friendly, empowering community of women who enjoy getting outdoors and supporting each other on their wellness journey

Location: Byron Bay Area (exact location revealed upon booking)
Time: Meet at 7:20am, walk from 7:30am–09:30am (NSW time - AEDT)
Tickets: $25
What to Bring:
- Minimum 1 litre of water
- Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
- Comfortable walking shoes

NOTE:
- This event is in NSW and will be running on daylight savings time so please double check you have the right time if coming from QLD
- The event is for women 18yrs+
- You'll need to sign a waiver to participate in this event
- Beginner friendly walk of up to an hour, may be soft sand walking and exposed tree roots
- Please be responsible and aware of your physical and mental abilities and only choose to participate if it's right for you and your body. This event is not intended as therapy, please seek advice from health professionals if this is what you are needing.
- The host will monitor weather conditions and will only cancel the event if there is extreme weather. We will still walk in rain if safe to do so (it's part of the fun). Refunds will only be provided if the host cancels the event due to weather
