Event description

This event is part of the 2023 Great Southern Treasures Bloom Festival hosted by WCP Civil.

Hike, Wine and Dine hosted by Albany Tours.

Adventure to the Porongurups and experience the spectacular views from the skywalk at Castle Rock. Hike amongst spring wildflowers in vibrant bushland. Relax at lunch enjoying views to Stirling Range National Park. Nourished by nature.

Discover the spectacular scenery and bountiful produce of the Porongurups region, just a short drive north of Albany. Castle Rock is a 4.2km return walk that requires moderate fitness. To reach the spectacular views at the summit, requires a final short scramble over rocks and a climb up an enclosed ladder.

Your Busy Blue Bus Tour Guide will entertain you with intriguing stories of the area, from the traditional Noongar owners to the European settlers. You’ll learn about the premium award winning wines of the Great Southern Wine Region and local produce while sampling the best of both during a relaxed lunch at Ironwood Estate winery overlooking the mountains.
