Regenerating the Hills and Coasts
Event description
A lot has been happening with #regeneration in the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island. This gathering will enable us to explore the potential of our local places and how we might best connect and collaborate with others across the continent. Exciting new ideas, initiatives and investment are gaining momentum in our region!
Following a successful local learning lab in late 2022 with WWF-Australia and partners it is now time to explore what's next for regenerative enterprises, organisations and networks.
This is a gathering for people who are working, volunteering, learning, living and playing in and on the lands and waters of the Ngarrindjeri, Peramangk and Kaurna peoples. It is an afternoon for people who are already leading regenerative enterprises and initiatives to workshop together with those who want to get involved, support, fund or benefit from this vital work.
We want to discover:
- Who is involved in projects in our local places?
- What do people want to start doing, stop or even sustain?
- What might we seek or share?
- How might we do this most effectively?
- What does effective digital infrastructure look like for regional regeneration?
- Who needs to be leading this work? And how might we move forward collectively?
We will explore these questions and more. This event will be part community gathering and part get-down-to-business workshop, with more details to be announced as we get closer to the date. Book your spot now (tickets are free) and share the details anyone with a passion for change and an interest in regional regeneration.
This event is auspiced by RDA Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island.
