According to Ayurveda, a sister branch of yoga, winter is seen as the season to slow down, rest, eat heavier, warmer foods, and take the time to go inward. Spring is seen as the season of cleansing, lightness, a time of renewal and new beginnings. As we move out of the heaviness of winter, this practice has been curated to prepare us for spring. Rooted in the wisdom of the Himalayas, this Power Practice encourages you to cleanse, purify and shed the winter energy we were never meant to hold onto.

About the afternoon...

This immersive wellness experience has been carefully designed to support the reset of your physical body, mental body, and energetic body. Throughout the workshop, you’ll experience a powerful blend of traditional Himalayan practices, including:

Kriya Yoga. A dynamic combination of breathwork and movement that helps detoxify and purify the body while increasing vitality and mental clarity.

Pranayama. Ancient yogic breathing techniques to energise the body, calm the nervous system, and support overall wellbeing.

Yoga Asana/ Postures. Mindful movement to improve circulation, release tension, and ground the body after the deeper energetic work.

Sound Healing. A deeply restorative journey to integrate the practice and leave you feeling grounded, calm, and renewed.

Guided Meditation. Inviting you into a space of profound stillness.

This winter detox is more than a yoga workshop; it’s a holistic wellness experience that is designed to help you reconnect with your health long after the practice ends.

Every guest will also receive a take-home wellness guide, including:

A powerful detoxifying breathwork practice to support digestion and gut health.
A seasonal Ayurvedic recipe and nutritional guidance for spring, helping you eat in harmony with nature and cultivate greater lightness and vitality.
Practical wellness tips that you can continue using long after the event.

Sound Healing- You all know amazing sound alchemist, Alex. Alex will take you on a deeply restorative journey with 40 minutes of sound. Using beautiful Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, and a range of other instruments, Alex will have you floating in a cocoon of sound designed to help you slow down, soften and surrender. Simply get comfortable, close your eyes, breathe deeply, and allow the sounds to guide you into a beautiful, restful state.

We are also delighted to welcome special guest, Dr. Priya Wellness, who will be sharing her holistic wellness products at the end of the workshop and offering insights into Ayurvedic approaches that support health, healing, and everyday vitality. We have been using one of Dr Priyas immunity wellness products, you gut this, which has been fantastic for supporting digestion and gut health during winter. We are sure you will love her products and her wisdom.

Please note: This Himalayan Power Practice is a dynamic session designed to elevate your heart rate, build heat in the body, and encourage plenty of movement. You can expect to sweat and be physically challenged.

If you have a heart condition, are pregnant, or have any medical concerns that may be affected by vigorous exercise, we recommend waiting for one of the calmer practices instead.

This practice really invites you to step into your power. So set your intentions to move into a greater version of you!
