SuperAdobe Dome Finishes Workshop - Hindmarsh Valley

NATURAL BUILDING WORKSHOP

We are so excited to be bringing you our next workshop! HINDMARSH VALLEY SOUTH AUSTRALIA

We will be completing the HUGE dome we began a few months ago, and you get to be a part of every single aspect, including:

• Natural Internal Plasters Masterclass - experimenting, testing, and applying multiple different recipes and mixes so you leave with an in-depth understanding of why and how each element works within a mix

• External cement based renders, and how to achieve a 20 year lifespan out of the external of your Dome or SuperAdobe projects

• Fitting Doors, Windows, and Skylights - essential skills to do right the first time!

• Laying and plastering up to a floating floor within a Dome setting

• Small SuperAdobe bench seat, laying the bags and rendering the whole thing!

• Complete hands-on expperience, plus sit-down lectures thoroughly explaining every aspect of the technology and techniques

• Plastering our Cob Pizza oven, and of course eating a few from it!

• Intro to Tadelakt - come have a play!

• A new group of enthusiastic, interesting friends to camp and build with

  This will be located on the South Australian coast, 10 minutes from Victor Harbour, and 45 mins south of Adelaide

  $400 per week - Camping included

  SINGLE DAY TICKETS AVAILABLE - $100

  Bring your tent or camper! Free camping spot on the property, with beautiful toilets and shower included. There are also 2 accomodation spots available if you’d like to rent a room to sleep in. Enquire within!

  We will be doing food a little differently this time, we will be proving breakfast and lunch, and will be leaving everyone up to their own devices for Dinner! We will be proving a fridge and cooking area, including a stovetop and BBQ, and we assume there will be some communal cookups happening when they happen. This structure has worked for us in the past, and helped to relieve some of the workload from us as hosts.
