The Hinterland Adventure Playground in Cooroy is a nationally award winning landscape and playground. It’s been open for over two years and the landscape and planting has matured beautifully. The landscape also offers significant wildlife habitat nestled adjacent to the riparian corridor of Cooroy Creek.

Join Noosa Council staff to inspect the maturing landscape, identify plant species used in the design, learn of urban wildlife opportunities integrated into the design, and discuss contemporary approaches to playgrounds, all of which has application to the home garden.

Following the tour join the Urban Wildlife Gardens crew for refreshments up the street in the cool of the air conditioned Cooroy RSL a proud sponsor of Urban Wildlife Gardens.

Meet at the entrance gates of Hinterland Adventure Playground, Mill Place, Marara Street, Cooroy.

Bring your hat, shoes and drinking bottle. Children welcome but are to remain under supervision of attendees.
