Hip hop class in Glebe for beginners
Event description
Come and join this fun after-school dance class in the heart of Glebe. The free 6-week program is open to anyone 13 to 18 years and no dance experience is needed.
Led by an experienced dance teacher, you’ll get an introduction to hip hop dance and culture. Learn basic steps, grooves, rhythms and freestyle techniques and explore hip hop music and foundations.
Each weekly workshop begins with warm up exercises and a recap of techniques and skills learnt in previous weeks.
We’ll combine the moves to create a short, choreographed dance by the end of the program.
