Event description
Every man has a story.
His Story is a storytelling event for men, by men and this International Men’s Day we’re flipping the script on the stories we’ve inherited.
Storyteller theme: 'Inherited Myths – Rewriting the Stories We've Been Told'
Hosted by comedian Al Del Bene, this is not your average bloke's night out. Just real men, personal stories, and a room full of men ready to laugh, wince a little and talk about what it means to be a man.
Meet the storytellers:
Marty Bright - Comedian, Artist, Musician & Poet
Aaron Huey - Tradie Coach
Gareth Robinson - Surf Lifesaver of the Year
John Broadbent - Man Unplugged
Paul Stevens - the 'Singing Caddie'
From their 20s to their 80s+, these legends will take the stage with nothing but a mic and 8-minutes to share the stories that helped shape who they are as men and the lessons they want to pass on to other generations.
A Blokes Night Out: Ditch the couch, grab your crew, and settle in for a night that hits harder than a cold schooner on a hot day.
Perfect for Corporates: Looking for a client event with heart, or a team night out that actually sparks interesting watercooler conversations. Book a table for your company or team.
Eat, Drink & be Moved: Order food and drinks to your table. The only time you’ll stand up is for the ovation at the end of the night.
It’s not an Open Mic Night. The storytellers are handpicked and include a mix of celebrities, everyday heroes, and Aussie blokes with a story to share.
Supporting a cause that matters
A portion of every ticket goes to Mongrels Men, a community-based charity helping prevent mental health illnesses, disorders and suicide among Aussie men.
It’s more than a night out. It’s a movement.
It’s time for men to stand up, take the stage, speak up, and rewrite the myths we’ve inherited.
Tickets are $45 (incl GST) + Booking Fee.
Tickets are limited. Don’t miss out.
