Join heritage architect Philip Griffiths for a guided walk in Perth’s Historic Murray Street East neighbourhood and rediscover this wonderful part of our city.

The Historic Murray Street East is home to one of Perth’s greatest collections of heritage buildings, together forming important streetscapes of late nineteenth and early twentieth century architecture. The collection of buildings includes landmarks such as the Colonial Hospital, Central Fire Station, Government Printing Office, Hibernian Hall, Mercedes College, the Archbishops Palace and St Mary’s Cathedral. 

Philip Griffiths is the Director and practice Principal of Griffiths Architects which he founded in 2005. As a heritage architect Philip has been responsible for heritage projects throughout Western Australia including carrying out conservation and adaption works to Government House, the WA Ballet Centre, the Archbishop's Palace, Perth Chest Clinic, Claremont Goods Shed, Dumas House, Government House and His Majesty's Theatre.
