100 years of dancing: 1650-1750

This is a great taster course where each week we will touch on a different decade of European dance between 1650-1750. Prepare to learn everything from Playford to Pierre Rameau! Dances will range from simple country dances, to slightly more complicated footwork in our later court dances.

What to bring:

Comfortable clothing

Dance shoes - Jazz or Ballet flats or small heeled character shoes. Dance shoes are essential for continuers class but comfortable, low grip shoes will be fine for beginner class.

Water bottle!

Class etiquette:

It is a requirement that you participate in the warm-up so please be ready to dance at your class start time.

The steps are simple and easy to execute, but as with any dance, please be careful if you have any injuries and let the teacher know before class starts.
