    Event description

HISSOC are very excited to invite you to take part in our Historical Tour of the Rocks - the oldest neighbourhood of Australia post-colonisation. The tour will be lead by USyd alumnus, Andrew Douglas Smith, as he takes us around the sandstone buildings and explains the stories of their past. This event is entirely free for all HISSOC members!

We hear there might be a sneaky pub crawl with a few other societies down King Street after?...

    Time & Date

    Thursday 23 March (Week 5), 3pm-4:30pm.

    Location

We'll be meeting at the Royal Hotel at 2pm, and then catching the train together to Circular Quay from Redfern. If you're not on campus, then we can meet you at Wharf 6 at Circular Quay at 2:45pm for a 3pm start.

    Tickets

This is a free event, but because of the close-nature of a walking tour we need to cap capacity - so please register for the event.

    Accessibility

Please note that The Rocks is quite a hilly area with a lot of stairs and steep gradients. We shall do our best to ensure that all participants are able to navigate their way through the walking tour.
