History & Historical Fiction Author Panel

Join authors Peter Spencer and Katrina Kittell for a fascinating conversation about bringing the past to life through history and historical fiction. Hear how research, real people and historical events can inspire stories, and explore the different ways writers uncover, interpret, and share the past.

Peter Spencer will discuss his approach to historical fiction, while Katrina Kittell will share her experience researching and writing about real historical events and people. Together, they’ll explore the relationship between fact and fiction, the challenges of writing about the past, and what makes historical stories continue to capture our imagination.

Collins Booksellers Queanbeyan will also be joining us on the day, with copies of the authors’ books available to purchase. Come along, meet the authors, hear about their writing journeys, and grab a copy to have signed.
