Online Event
Seminars delivered live online via Google Meet. You will receive the joining link by email a few days before the seminar, and again on the morning of the session. Nothing needs to be installed, as the link opens in your web browser, and you do not need a Google account to join. Please click the link once when it arrives to check it works, particularly if you will be joining from an institutional network. Some organisations restrict video platforms, and it is much easier to sort out beforehand than once the seminar has started. Joining a few minutes early is a good idea for the same reason. You will need a reasonable internet connection. A camera is welcome but not required. Questions are welcome throughout, either by raising your hand, speaking up, or using the chat. Sessions are not recorded, which keeps the discussion open. The Chatham House Rule applies: participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speakers, nor that of any other participant, may be revealed. If the link has not arrived two days before the seminar, or anything goes wrong on the day, email peter@ai-ethics.au.
