Old Glenside Hospital Tour
Join David Buob from the Glenside Historical Society for a tour of select heritage buildings which were originally part of the Parkside Lunatic Asylum are now the Adelaide Central School of Art campus. David will take the tour through the architecture and rich social history of these buildings with focus on the former Mens P+O Ward, Dining Room and Erindale.
Learn about the buildings and their function over the past 125 years.
The tour will commence at 11am from the palm tree in front of the Adelaide Central School of Art administration building.
The Adelaide Central School of Art Open Day will be in full swing on this day, and so tour participants are most welcome enjoy the various activities including campus tours, art exhibitions and the Student Association bake sale. There will also be coffee available onsite from The Coffee Pedlar van.
