Hitting The Ground Running November 2024
Event description
Hosted by the Banyule Nillumbik Youth Services Network, Hitting the Ground Running is a one day induction program that aims to introduce new workers working with young people and their families to the key agencies, services and issues across Nillumbik and Banyule. This program is suitable from professionals who work with young people aged 12-25 in the Nillumbik and/or Banyule area.
The programs takes participants via bus on a tour of key services across Nillumbik and Banyule including Nillumbik Shire Council, headspace Greensborough, Banyule Youth Services and Jets Studio, Open House and will hear from youth services including Jesuit Social Services, healthAbility, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CYMHS) Berry Street, Northern Centre Against Sexual Assault (NCASA) and more.
Cost includes lunch, transport throughout the day and morning tea.
