Hitting the Ground Running is a full‑day bus tour for professionals working with young people in the Banyule and Nillumbik region.
Participants will visit a range of youth service venues, hearing directly from staff about their programs, focus areas, and referral pathways. The day is a great opportunity for professionals to network, understand local service systems and have some fun.
The event is perfect for new workers to the region or other professionals who are wanting to refresh their understanding of what’s available for young people locally.
The cost to attend is $30, which includes lunch at a local restaurant and snacks throughout the day.
The tour runs from 8:45am to 4:00pm, starting and finishing at the Nillumbik Youth Hub in Diamond Creek. All-day parking is available nearby.
This event is hosted by the Banyule Nillumbik Youth Services Network who run trainings, events & networking sessions for local youth & community professionals in the region
