HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education & care setting
Event description
Due to COVID-19 all the theory for this course will be done online.
The 60 minute practical component of this course will be assessed 4 participants at a time in accordance to the recommendations by the State Government.
Once you have registered you will receive a link to book a time for your practical between 9am-5pm on Saturday 27th February 2021. Once you have booked your practical you can then complete your online pre-course study. Please use GOOGLE CHROME to complete the on-line pre-course study.
This training course involves:
- Completion of online pre-course study, plus 60 minute practical training
- You will be required to obtain a USI (Unique Student Identifier) to complete this qualification. (Details on how to obtain a USI can be found www.usi.gov.au. Please note: you do not need to obtain a new USI if you already have one).
- You will need to complete the online assessment prior to the practical day. A link to the online pre-course study will be emailed to you when you register.
This course covers senior first aid, CPR and the management of asthma and anaphylaxis.
This is a nationally recognised qualification.
