The Hunter Medical Research Institute Poo Palace is returning to the Newcastle Museum for Science Week 2024.
Dates: Saturday 17 -Sunday 18 August
Location: Newcastle Museum, 6 Workshop Way, Newcastle NSW 2300
Tickets: FREE. Tickets will go on sale at the beginning of each day.
You only need to book tickets for children. Adults do NOT require tickets*
The HMRI Poo Palace is an interactive and educational activation that takes kids on a journey through the human digestive system.
Hosted by HMRI's Gastrointestinal Research Group, the activation features a giant inflatable digestive system, live experiments, playdough poo crafting, and opportunities to engage with world-class gut health researchers.
National Science Week Australia 2024 is an annual celebration of science and technology. Newcastle Museum is hosting the Hunter Science Festival, a hugely popular day is filled with FREE science fun and hands-on experiences for kids of all ages!
