Hobart Luncheon September
Event description
The tyranny of loneliness.
In a world where we are more connected that we have ever been, why do we feel so lonely?
Mim is a solopreneur, a term she has only recently learned. It can be a lonely place, especially if you are working from home.
Mim has an extensive corporate background and has experienced that same feeling of loneliness as a C Suite Executive.
Meet Mim at the “campfire of connection”, a place where we come together, to share our wisdom.
Discover the neuroscience of loneliness, how it can impact your biology, your thoughts, your behaviour.
There is an antidote to loneliness within us, what is it for you?
About guest speaker Mim Coleman
Mim was a corporate executive in accounting and finance. A 30-year career that spanned the globe in a diverse range of industries.
An identity that is now a gentle echo of wisdom that supports her in her current work.
Mim has dedicated the remainder of her life to Peacebuilding. In a time when the world is in crisis, Mim understands that peace is possible, when we begin with peacebuilding from within.
A coach and mentor in heart centred leaders, her experience and continues learning guides her philosophy and passion. A qualified Trauma Practitioner in The Richards Trauma Process, Mim brings the neuroscience of our life events into our awareness with kindness and compassion. In her corporate experience, Mim as seen first hand the impact of unresolved internal challenges can have on teams, leaders and organisations.
What am I passionate about?
I am passionate about leadership and guiding individuals in developing greater self- awareness and consciousness by working on the inner game which affects a leader’s outer game. One person at a time, we have the capacity to change whole systems.
Just imagine if we shift the inner game enough that the current paradigms that enable conflict, inequity, mistrust, conflict and hate become a global community a global system for good.
Now that is exciting!
Mahatma Gandhi’s words “in a gentle way you can shake the world” guide me.
Mim is currently writing a book to help each of us navigate the conflict in our world, our communities, our families and withing our self. When she asked herself, “what can I do” to resolve the crisis in my life,” she understood that many other people will be too. The book is in service to all who hope for a peaceful life and ask “What can I do.”
Mim is supporting people who are seeking the skills to navigate conflict in their life as a global facilitator of the Mighty Heart Program.
