Join us for a fantastic night of fun and fundraising hosted by the Hobart CRISP Refugee Support Group.

All funds raised go towards assisting the family we will support as part of the CRISP program (Community Refugee Integration & Settlement Pilot).

Our group is once again taking part in the CRISP Program run by Community Refugee Sponsorship Australia (CRSA).

The "CRISP" is the Community Refugee Integration and Settlement Pilot - it has been running in Australia since August 2022 and has already seen more than 100 local community supporter groups formed (including 7 CRISP groups based in Southern Tasmania!), welcoming over 500 refugee newcomers!

In May 2024, the Federal government has committed to making the CRISP permanent in February 2025 (with effect from mid 2026). This is testament to the wide range of benefits of this community-led approach for refugee newcomers, local communities and the everyday Australians who put their hands up to welcome a newcomer.

The CRISP allows groups of everyday Australians to welcome refugees into their local community and help them from 'day one' of their Australian journey.
