HOBBY HORSE NATIONAL ONE DAY EVENT

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us at the very first Hobby Horse One Day Event to be held in Australia

It will be held in Queensland on SUNDAY 27th SEPTEMBER 2026 at the Home of Hobby Horse Riders, 92 Lockes Lane, Belli Park in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

We believe this to be a WORLD FIRST for Hobby Horse riding.  While Poland are soon to hold a "One Day Event" they are only including dressage and show jumping, but ours will be the full deal - Dressage, Cross Country Jumping, and Show Jumping.

We do hope you can join us and experience yet another way to enjoy HOBBY HORSE RIDING....It's going to be fun riding in the arena and then out across the Belli Park countryside.

Food & Drinks

We will have a Sausage Sizzle and Water on sale.  This is organised as a fundraiser by NAMBOUR THURSDAY NIGHT COMMUNITY DINNER who provide regular meals for people who are homeless.  Please support their fundraising efforts.

Early afternoon we will have POPPA-SWIRLS Real Fruit Frozen Yoghurt and Ice cream.  As internet can sometimes be dodgy, it is probably a good idea to bring some cash along. You may also like to bring along some picnic treats.

It's always lovely picnicking under our ancient fig tree. You are welcome to BYO your favourite feast.

Seating

While we have quite a number of chairs, you may like to bring along some extras, or perhaps a picnic rug.

Others Hobby Horsing

For those who love hobby horse riding but have not entered this event....(parents included) can have a go on a short gymkhana course that we will have set up, with some spare hobby horses to ride as well.

Please note that this is a NO DOG event.  With horses and farm dogs on the property and lots of children running around, it is safest for all concerned to leave your favourite pooch at home.

Please send this information to your friends and family.
