About The Workshop New to brush calligraphy? Weβll practise the very basics of brush calligraphy together on simple worksheets, then use what you've learned to hand-letter your very own festive postcard to take home. This workshop runs right alongside my stall at Hoji Tart Art Market, so book in and come sit with me for a bit π Cost & Sessions Ad-on cost: $38/session To book a spot, please make sure to purchase the additional ad-on during ticket purchasing. Session 1 : 11:30am Session 2 : 2pm What Weβll Be Doing Join us for a 45-minute creative pause! Itβs a warm, welcoming spot to pull up a chair, chat, and try something new: ποΈ Brush Pen Basics: Get a lovely first taste of brush calligraphy by learning the lowercase alphabet. π Low-Pressure Practice: Work through simple worksheets to get comfortable with the tools without any stress. π Festive Crafting: Letter and decorate your own handmade postcard using a shared spread of lovely paper deco bits. Workshop Inclusions The workshop includes a blank postcard and practice worksheets to keep your new skills going at home. All brush pens and paper deco bits are provided to share at the table. Just bring your lovely self! π» Meet Your Host Hi, Iβm Fiona from Swallow Wind Art! I started my own lettering journey to slow down and add a personal touch to my pages. I know that picking up a brush pen can feel a little intimidating at first, so I love creating beginner-friendly spaces. My goal is to break down the "I'm not creative" barrier so you can slow down and discover the joy of making.
