Hold On - A Night for Parents
Description
Join us for an evening of insight, conversation, and encouragement.
Parenting in the 2020s can feel like a constant juggle.
Time moves quickly. Expectations keep rising. Technology is reshaping our families, schools, work, and downtime.
And day-to-day life can feel like a blur of logistics, WhatsApp messages, and managing behaviour.
In the midst of it all, how do we stay focused on what matters most?
How do we model the values and habits we want to pass on?
How do we hold on - both for the ride, and to our kids?
This event creates space to pause and reflect on these questions together.
You’ll hear from four guest speakers as they explore what’s worth holding onto as parents - things like faith, kindness, family, formation, and connection.
The evening will include four TED-style talks, table discussions, and a Q&A.

Susy Lee - Author of Raising Kids Who Care and recently promoted to grandparent
Ainsley Freeman - Pastor at Forest Baptist Church and author of Impress
Matt Stanton - Best-selling children’s author and illustrator, raising four kids in regional NSW
Lucinda Morrison - Adolescent social worker and working mum of three primary-aged children
We’d love you to join us for what promises to be a thoughtful and encouraging night.
When? Tuesday 26th May, 7pm-8.30pm
