Event description

You are warmly invited to join a Climate Café by Psychology for a Safe Climate.

A Climate Cafe is a gentle, supportive space to share and explore our emotional responses to climate change.

As the impacts of climate change deepen and fossil fuel expansion in the NT accelerates, many of us are feeling grief, anger, worry, or overwhelm. A Climate Café is a safe, inclusive gathering where we can sit together, listen deeply, and honour these feelings in community.

Holding Space for Climate Emotions
Before the café begins, Christie Wilson (Climate Therapist, Psychology for a Safe Climate) will facilitate an 30min introductory session on climate emotions and introduce Psychology for a Safe Climate. We will then move into the Climate cafe and after share some food and music together.

Why Come?

  • To connect with others who care deeply about our shared future.

  • To find language, community, and support for the emotions that climate change stirs.

  • To learn how you can be part of the emerging Darwin Climate Café community and facilitation team.

For those interested in going on to be a Climate Cafe Facilitator you can register here.
