HOLDING SPACE: Obscura Workshop with Graham Prichard - Session 2
Event description
WORKSHOP - SESSION 2| Saturday 28 September , 12pm-1pm
A part of their HOLDING SPACE residency, Graham Prichard has been working on a series of light chambers. The work brings imagery from several well-lit spaces into a single dark chamber, similar to a Camera Obscura. The structure can be manipulated by the viewer to translate matter and space into still image.
In this short workshop intensive, Graham will discuss his experimental obscura structure, and the experiments undertaken during his residency, before guiding participants through their own experimentation and light-based play!

Participants are asked to bring an object for translation by the light chambers.
