School Holiday Family Art "A Mindful & Meditative Play with Clay' Tasmania
Event description
Join us for a Mindful & Meditative Play with Clay.
We’ll begin with a 10-minute guided rest accompanied by the gentle sounds of singing bowls, helping everyone to arrive in a calm and peaceful space. From here enjoy a beautiful storybook reading that touches on themes of emotions and mindfulness in a playful, age-appropriate way.
The session then opens into a Meditative Play with Clay — a hands-on, sensory exploration where children (and parents!) can let their creativity flow. Working with clay can be very grounding, lots of fun, creating space for expression. This workshop offers a wonderful opportunity for participants to shape their feelings into forms while building confidence and enjoying time together. Parents are warmly encouraged to participate alongside their children, sharing in the joy of mindful making.
This workshop offers a nurturing blend of rest, storytelling, and creative expression — a perfect balance of fun and calm for the school holidays.
