WORKSHOP DATES/ TIMES: Wednesday 10th January - Friday 12th January. The workshop will run from 9 am-3.30 pm however we will be supervising children from 8.30 am- 4 pm. (Classes start at 9 am so please try to be on time.)

Drop off before 8.30 am or Pick up after 4 pm will incur an early/ late fee. ($20 per 15 minutes - minimum charge $20). Please contact us immediately via text at 0426529735 if for any reason you cannot pick your child/children up by 4 pm. This policy is to be adhered to strictly by the staff due to insurance reasons. Guardian Angels have an OSHC if you would like to contact them for extra hours.

There is a performance on the last day at 3 pm (details below.) Please note we do not have any teachers on for supervision before 8.30 am so if you arrive before then please stay outside with your children until 8.30 am.

WORKSHOP VENUE: We will be holding this workshop at Guardian Angels Primary School, Edmund Rice Drive Southport. We will be based in the school hall. For those of you who don't know Guardian Angels, the Hall is located in the centre of the school. You can park in the top car park and then walk past the administration block and straight ahead of you is the hall. You shouldn't miss it.

LUNCHES: It is of utmost importance that children come with their own lunches packed. There are lots of children with food allergies so strictly no sharing will be allowed. Please ensure your child has lots of water and drinks packed as well. (There are bubblers for refills)

MEDICATION/ALLERGIES: If your child has any medication or allergies please ensure we have a copy of your action plan / Medication advice notice. We also require their bags to be separated from the other children we will give instructions for this on the day. Please send a copy of the action plan to: info@gcyta.com.au

BREAKS: During our supervised breaks children can play outside or inside and watch movies in an air-conditioned room. Please pack hats and put sunscreen on children before attending. Spare clothes and particularly underwear for younger children are always handy just in case.

LOST PROPERTY: We always seem to collect a pile of lost property each day. This will be at the front table at the beginning of every day so if your child is missing anything please have them check first thing each morning. If they leave anything on the last day please contact me immediately so we can arrange for you to pick it up, items can no longer be held at school so they really must be collected on the final day or they will be discarded.

PERFORMANCE: On the last day we will have a fun little performance that everyone is welcome to come and watch. The performance will start at 3 pm sharp and run for approximately 1 hour. We ask children to wear all black or dark/clothing for the performance and then each group may have a few accessories! However, none of this is compulsory. Your children may be stressed about this as they have been in the past. Please assure them that not having something the right colour is not going to affect the performance in any way! We do like it if everyone wears black/dark clothes on the last day however if this is not possible it is still not the end of the world. This is just so they all feel like a team.

(We have workshop t-shirts for sale at $25 cash that can be purchased on any of the three days.Prices have to rise on our next order of shirts so if you did want one grab it this is the last opportunity at this rate.)

SIGNING IN: Sign-in is required for each child and staff will do this at drop-off. You can drop your child off by doing a drive-through where we will ensure their sign-in and safety. If you need to walk your child in please make sure they see the staff in the drive-through area to have their name marked off. You will receive a video tutorial about this in the reminder email

If another person is picking up or dropping off your children you must send their details including full name and phone number to info@gcyta.com.au prior to the workshop commencing.

CANCELLATIONS: You may refund your own ticket up to 10 days prior to the event. You are able to edit and transfer your ticket to another person. We also often have a waitlist so feel free to check in with us if you can no longer use your ticket. @EditOrderLink

COVID CHANGE TO ILLNESS POLICY: If your child has to pull out on the first day before starting due to illness we will now offer a transfer as long as a doctor's certificate can be provided. (Sorry to do this but due to being taken advantage of previously this is now a requirement.) If your child attends the first day and or second day but then leaves unfortunately this is not refundable however we will offer a discount to any other workshop within a year of booking.
