Add warmth and ambiance to your home with holiday scented tealight candles and wax melts. Tealight candles are small candles that are poured into little tins, and can be burned on their own or used in a tealight candle warmer for wax melts. Wax melts are small wax tarts that are similar to scented candle wax. In this class you will learn how to make a set of 6 scented tealight candles and a set of wax melt tarts. Tea light warmer not included. Your instructor will guide you through all the steps of melting your wax, adding scent and color, and how to pour into the molds. You instructor will also give you great tips about the types of waxes and scents you can use, and how you can embellish your wax melts. This is a great opportunity to make a gift to give for the holidays, or invite friends and family to get together to make a fun craft together.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS

This class is available to take In Person at our Montclair NJ Shop, or online Virtually on Zoom. For the Virtual class participants can opt to take the class with a DIY Kit or choose to receive a shopping list.

IN PERSON CLASS

If a participant chooses to take the class In Person, then they are taking the class at our shop located at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair NJ. For In Person Classes, materials will be provided at the shop.

VIRTUAL CLASS

If a participant chooses to take the class Virtually, they will receive a Zoom link. For Virtual Classes a participant can choose to receive a DIY Kit or a Shopping List.

To receive your DIY Kit in a timely manner, register at least a week or earlier in advance to reserve your materials for shipping or local curbside pick up. Please provide your shipping address when registering.

DIY Kit includes soy wax, bees wax, fragrance oils, wick, wick stickers, tins, tart molds, and instruction sheet.

Participants will need access to a microwave or double boiler, a microwave safe measuring cup, a candy thermometer or kitchen thermometer.

Participants who register for a Virtual class with a Shopping List will be emailed a list of materials, utensils, appliances, and other items needed to participate in the workshop. Participants are responsible for sourcing their materials in time for class. Participants are welcome to contact us for recommendations as to where they can source their materials.

APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION

Participants must be at least 12 years old and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket.

CLASS PARTICIPATION

This is a Live event. In Person and Virtual Class Participants must attend on the scheduled date and time of the class in order to partake. There is no recorded session available for replay. If an In Person Participant is unable to attend the class in Person they can request to join the class Virtually and we can arrange accommodations. If a Virtual Class participant is unable to log onto a class on the day and time it is scheduled then it is the participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event for accommodations. If a participant is unable to join and needs to reschedule, there is a rescheduling fee that will be billed to the participant. If we as the organizers need to reschedule an event there is no rescheduling fee, and participants will be notified of any changes.

INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION

If you live outside of the United States there is an additional fee to ship DIY kits. Participants are responsible for any duty fees, customs fees, or any additional fees associated with receiving their DIY Kits. If a participant chooses to get a DIY Kit it is the participant’s responsibility to make sure their country can receive packages from the US.
