In doing so, we 'hold onto the bad and project the good,' creating holding patterns in our body-mind where 'the bad spills & feeds internal conflict.' Your feeling mind does not communicate with words or understand judgment."

"A Whole-Body Awakening" is a space where you can allow yourself to feel all the uncomfortable stuff (sometimes thats the good stuff) a space to release held tensions & stresses, & begin to heal your relationship with your feeling mind, & consequently, your relationship with your body.

This workshop acknowledges that we have two ways of making sense of the world: the mind that thinks & the mind that feels. These two minds often seem like they don't communicate with each other. HoloSoma is the integration of internal conflict freeing your energy & directing it with freedom of choice, where you choose.

Through specific physical movements, we open your muscular system and energetic channels, intentionally directing breath & releasing your grip on your body. We utilize the unique qualities of emotional energy to unlock fixed patterns held within your body. These patterns can limit who you are & trap energy, creating a sense of density & stagnation that you can instinctively feel.

2.00pm - Stepping off ~ Arrive, breath, settle. Lay our intention & mapping the terrain.

2.30pm - Opening body channels ~ Somatic therapy, body and breath movements.

3.00pm - Working with emotional energy.

4.00pm - Cacao & journaling.

4.30pm - Vagal recalibration ~ Body movements supporting deep rest & pathing integration to connect.

Te-Awa Taputoro is the co~founder of HoloSoma.

Te-Awa is an embodiment coach dedicated to teaching people how to fully inhabit their bodies. Te-Awa specialises in physical movement programs designed to unlock fixed patterns where energy gets stuck. With over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, Te-Awa brings a wealth of expertise in empowering individuals & groups.

Her extensive knowledge spans various disciplines, including yoga alliance certified teacher specialising in yoga therapy, trauma-applied yoga & Hatha yoga. Additionally, Te-Awa has a background in contemporary movement, embodied shadow work which incorporates traditional movements integrating multiple movement forms into her unique skill set.

Te-Awa’s passion for our sacred space we call "body" & its transformative power has been instrumental in her mission of ‘Empowerment through Embodiment” True freedom & empowerment are ignited within, through integrating what we are holding, when we are in reaction to, & we process our emotions, stress, and trauma-like responses lay down the path to transformation on the foundation of liberation & embodied freedom.
