The Holsworth Oration 2026

The La Trobe Rural Health School invite you to the inaugural Holsworth Biomedical Research Centre Oration held at La Trobe University Bendigo on Thursday June 25.

Join us as we welcome Professor Michael Kingsley, Dean of Science at the University of Auckland and Director of the Holsworth Research Initiative. Professor Kingsley will explore using exercise as an effective medicine and how exercise dose and fidelity together determine effectiveness.

Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with rural health practitioners, researchers, and industry and community partners, and to gain valuable insights into how evidence-based exercise can improve health outcomes.
