Join us for this year's Holtzclaw Lecture, presented as a Lunch & Learn with Dr. Ivory Phillips, author of "The Ayers vs. Waller Case: The Promise and Disappointment." Dr. Phillips served as professor in social sciences at Jackson State University for 44 years, along with appointments as Chair of Social Science Education, Faculty Senate President and Dean of the College of Education and Social Development. He is a frequent contributor to the Jackson Advocate, and is heavily involved in community activities around the state.
