What is Alpha?

Alpha is a multi week course starting in Term 2. It consists of a series of weekly interactive sessions. (Alpha means 'beginning or starting point of a journey together').

Why Alpha?

Would you like to meet other parents and build lasting friendships or have you ever asked yourself: 'What's the point of it all?', 'How can I be happier?', 'Why are we here?', 'What's the meaning of life?', 'Does religion really make any difference to my life and family anyway?'. Then.... Alpha is for you!

What can I expect each week?

Each week, a small group of parents from the same year group come together to share a meal, connect and catch up. Then, the group watches a short video presentation, designed to spark questions and conversations about the specific ideas and issues raised in the video. The topics encourage you to explore your thinking about Christianity, as well as your individual faith and life experiences. Expect connection and conversation, or just time to listen and learn from one another in a friendly, casual setting.
