Homa Therapy
Event description
Join us in Homa Therapy
Homa Therapy, or Agnihotra, is an ancient Vedic practice of medicinal fire ceremony that involves burning specific materials in a small copper pyramid, accompanied by the chanting of Sanskrit mantras. This practice is believed to purify the atmosphere, reduce pollutants, and yield ash with healing properties. From a scientific standpoint, Homa Therapy has shown potential benefits for air and soil quality. This holistic approach to health seeks to purify and nourish the environment, subsequently supporting the well-being of individuals within that environment.
Drawing from ancient wisdom, and by utilising revered traditions of Gayatri Mantra and Homa Therapy (Agnihotra), we invite you to participate in this activity with the intent for you to:
Heal the Body with Ancient Wisdom: By leveraging the knowledge and power of the Gayatri Mantra and the practice of Agnihotra, the Sanctuary aims to enhance physical health and spiritual growth. These practices, rooted in ancient wisdom, are seen to offer healing benefits to individuals, fostering overall well-being.
Heal the Natural Environment: The Sanctuary is also committed to promoting environmental health through Agnihotra, a practice scientifically validated to improve air and water quality, reduce pollutants, and enhance ecological balance. Additionally, Agnihotra ash, rich in essential minerals, nutrients, and antimicrobial properties, contributes to soil fertility and environmental sustainability.
Enhance your personal wellbeing: The Art Sanctuary serves as a tranquil escape, providing mental health support to office workers and the wider community. The Sanctuary not only enhances personal well-being but also plays a vital role in environmental stewardship, reflecting a harmonious coexistence with nature.
By bringing in the Gayatri Mantra Meditation as well as the Homa Therapy (healing fire) we hope to create a unique healing and therapeutic space in order to advance health and the natural environment:
