Home Body Dance - Indoors July
Event description
WHAT IS HOME BODY?
Home Body is a movement meditation dance enabling greater presence, creative possibility, awareness and aliveness.
Home Body is a space that invites curiosity and wonder to the home that is our own bodies, and dancing in community. With gentle facilitation, invitations are offered to harvest the wisdom in movement and the spaces between.
Inspired by Open Floor embodiment practice, Home Body is a chance to express what is true through dance. To move and include whatever is present.

ABOUT YOUR HOME BODY FACILITATOR
Home Body is a conscious dance series first facilitated by Francis Icasiano and Jono Finighan in Brunswick, Melbourne.
As an act of belonging and building relationship with his home town in Castlemaine, Francis offers Home Body again. A passionate dancer and playful soul Francis still intends to embark on the Open Floor teacher training path (when it reopens in 2027!)
Founder of Beyond Words a life-story initiative for the elderly, Francis invites deep listening and brings over a decade of experience of conscious dance classes and workshops in Australia and internationally. Francis is also involved in other community initiatives in Castlemaine - as San FranDisco silent disco practitioner he brings joyous dance and banging tracks to the streets with the D-Tour trio. He also initiated the Art of Grieving group exploring grief, loss and love through communal creative expression.
This event is brought to you in collaboration with D-Tour silent disco tours.
