Housewarming: An Artist Talk From Home – August 3 at 4 PM

Experience the soul of "HOME/MADE FLESH/BONE" on August 3, 2024, at 4 PM, at Honfleur Art Gallery. Inspired by the home salons of the Harlem Renaissance and The Dark Tower, this unique event features an ancestral meditation, followed by an audio grounding experience with performances by Dev Duff, H. Alejaibra Badu of Alejaibra’s House (formerly Madison House), Ikea Damone, Tamika Love Jones, and Taurus Mateen. These artists will share music, poetry, and songs inspired by the exhibition's themes. Tea will be served by MĀK Apothecary Youth, adding a special touch to the evening. This gathering provides a rare opportunity to engage with the artists and curator in a space that blurs the lines between performance and conversation.
