A half day course for the complete novice. This short course introduces you to the basic home toolkit.

It introduces the most useful hand tools to have in your kit, tells you what they’re used for, demonstrates how to use them, and gives you time to have a play with them.

You’ll also get a chance to try your hand with that home power tool essential, the drill/driver, drilling a hole into a wall and then putting a hook into it.

This course includes a handy tool to take home with you to put your newfound skills to work.

Morning tea is provided.

What you bring: Yourself.

-All tools and materials are included in the registration.

What to wear: old clothes you don't mind getting dirty in and sturdy closed-toe shoes.

-We provide safety glasses and ear protection.
