Home Maintenance 101
Event description
A half day course for the complete novice handy person. This short course introduces you to the basic home toolkit.
It introduces the most useful hand tools to have in your kit, tells you what they’re used for, demonstrates how to use them, and gives you time to have a play with them.
You’ll also get a chance to try your hand with that home power tool essential, the drill/driver, drilling a hole into a wall and then putting a hook into it.
This course includes a handy tool to take home with you to put your newfound skills to work.
What to Wear:
Weather appropriate old clothes you are happy to get dirty. Sturdy, closed toe shoes (runners are acceptable).
What is Provided:
Morning tea (team, coffee and biscuits)Â is provided.
All tools and equipment is provided, including safety glasses and gloves
This workshop is a safe space. Neurodiversity, the queer community, differently abled and minority groups are welcome.
Our workshop is located in Beaconsfield/Walyalup on Wadjuk Noongar Country. We pay our respect to elders past, present and emerging.
